Purpose and structural characteristics of air discharge check valve


The air discharge check valve is installed on the outlet pipeline of the high-pressure feed pump of the thermal power unit to prevent water backflow and protect the feed pump. This valve works in conjunction with the minimum flow automatic recirculation bypass valve of the water pump. When the feed pump is at low load or the outlet shut-off valve is closed, the automatic recirculation bypass valve (automatic recirculation valve) should be in the open position to ensure the safe operation of the water pump. When the air discharge check valve opens, the recirculation bypass valve automatically closes. It is not suitable for media containing solid particles and high viscosity.
